Balkan Children&Youth Foundation is
announcing a new deadline for the Balkan Youth Partnership Program
and additional information. The Balkan Youth Partnership Program
provides opportunities for representatives from child- and youth-serving
NGOs in different Balkan countries to visit organizations and institutions
in order to improve the activity of their organization, increase
their efficiency and create better conditions for youth and children.
The key programmatic areas for information exchange and learning
covered by the Partnership Program are: employment, technology,
non-formal education, health, civic education and democracy building.
The areas of community service, culture, and the environment are
also eligible. In addition, technical areas such as fundraising,
sustainability, grantmaking, monitoring and evaluation, and project
planning are eligible areas for exchange.
The Partnership Program is open to applicants from child- and youth-serving
NGOs in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo,
Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, and Serbia.
Applicants should be aged 18 or over.
They should possess a certain level of experience in program development
and be in a position to influence programming in their own organization
based on what they learn during the exchange.
The applicant organization should send no more than two participants.
