Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia
The candidates must be citizens of or permanently reside in one of the countries concerned, must have obtained a Ph.D., and should hold a senior academic position.
The fellowships are intended for younger scholars and, although there is no specific age limit, preference will be given to those under 45 years of age. The duration of the research term is three months; applications must be submitted by December 15, 2005.
