Environmental Tectonics Corp., which designs and installs aircraft training systems, on Friday said it has been suspended by the Navy from doing any work for the federal government.
Under the suspension, the Southampton, Pa.-based company is not allowed to solicit work with from the Navy, receive any contracts or renew existing contracts, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company was notified of the suspension on Oct. 2.
The company issued its filing with the SEC, after the General Services Administration had released all the names of contractors that had been suspended by the government.
Environmental Tectonic has 30 days to dispute the government’s decision.
A spokeswoman for the company could not be immediately reached for comment.
Shares of Environmental Tectonics fell 15 cents, or 4.3 percent, to $3.45 in afternoon trading.
