Elevii din Suceava – ECO-PROMOTORI timp de 40 de zile

Campania a fost realizata in cadrul concursului de creatie si comunicare Cei mai buni ECO-PROMOTORI. Concursul a avut loc concomitent in 20 de scoli care participa la proiectul educational Creeaza-ti Mediul!, din orasele Alesd, Arad, Baia Mare, Bistrita, Brasov, Bucuresti, Campulung Muscel, Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Oradea, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Ramnicu-Valcea, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Timisoara, Targu Mures si Turda.

?Concursul Cei mai buni ECO-PROMOTORI a reprezentat o etapa a proiectului Creeaza-ti Mediul! si un bun prilej pentru partenerii nostri elevi de a-si dezvolta abilitatile comunicative, argumentative si de colaborare. Concursul a avut o tema fixa, insa elevii au avut libertatea deplina de a alege activitatile prin care sa transmita cel mai eficient informatiile despre mediu si protectia mediului inconjurator acumulate pe parcursul acestui an scolar?, a declarat Radu Mateescu, Presedinte Executiv, Fundatia CONCEPT.

Compania Holcim (Romania) SA a asigurat fondurile necesare derularii campaniei de informare si va premia pe parcursul lunii iunie scoala in care s-a derulat cea mai creativa si eficienta campanie, prin donarea unei cisterne cu beton pentru lucrari de amenajare sau reparatii, ce vor fi specificate de catre institutia castigatoare.

?Dezvoltat din dorinta companiei Holcim de a fi mai aproape de comunitatile in care activeaza si de a raspunde nevoilor de informatii ale tinerei generatii, precum si ale formatorilor acesteia, proiectul are ca principal scop dezvoltarea unei atitudini prietenoase fata de mediul inconjurator. Campaniile derulate in cele 20 de scoli pilot, modalitatile inedite prin care copii si-au antrenat colegii sau parintii in activitatile cu caracter informativ sau de ecologizare ne indreptatesc sa credem ca implicarea in acest proiect a fost o decizie binevenita?, a declarat Luminita Oprea, Communication Manager, Holcim (Romania) SA.

Proiectul Creeaza-ti Mediul! se deruleaza in anul scolar 2004 – 2005, este finantat de Holcim (Romania) SA si implementat de Fundatia CONCEPT in parteneriat cu Ministerul Educatiei si Cercetarii. Proiectul se adreseaza elevilor din invatamantul primar si gimnazial romanesc, clasele a IV-a si a V-a, si isi propune sa formeze, inca de la aceste varste, un comportament civic de protectie a mediului inconjurator.

ZIUA MONDIALA FARA FUMAT (Anti-Tabac)

In parcurile Tineretului, Herastrau, Bazilescu, Cismigiu, National, Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Obor si Carol. Vor fi organizate concursuri de desene pe asfalt, se vor distribui pliante si fluturasi cu mesaje privind riscurile fumatului.

In anul 1988 Organizatia Mondiala pentru Ocrotirea Sanatatii a declarat ziua de 31 mai – Ziua Mondiala fara Fumat. De atunci anul in diferite orase ale lumii se organizeaza campanii pentru promovarea conceptului "Societate eliberata de tutun".

Fumatorii, cu aceasta ocazie, pot zice "[b]Renunt Acum[/b]" (Quit Now) !!!

In Harghita s-a deschis un orfelinat pentru puii de urs

Alena, prima pensionara a centrului Vier Pfoten, o asociatie mai cunoscuta pentru eforturile de rezolvare a situatiei maidanezilor, a pus, inca de anul trecut, bazele unui proiect unic de salvare, crestere si apoi eliberare in padure a ursuletilor orfani. Acestia sunt crescuti in asa fel incat sa nu ramana dependenti de om. Ajunsi la maturitate, ei vor putea pleca din nou in salbaticie. Proiectul a inceput cu o mica ursoaica, botezata Alena, care fusese gasita si adoptata anul trecut, cu putin timp inainte de terminarea constructiei la orfelinatul de ursi din Muntii Harghitei. Apoi a fost descoperita Bruna, care s-a alaturat Alenei, mormaind fericita ca are o sora vitrega.
Fara ajutor, ursuletii mor de foame sau mancati de lupi
Cand centrul a fost gata, o echipa condusa de inginerul cinegetic Leonardo Bereczky, coordonatorul profesional al proiectului, a plecat in cautarea ursuletilor fara mama. Din grup mai fac parte un medic veterinar din Austria si doi asistenti. Ei au batut Bucegii, Muntii Harghitei, Vrancei si apoi s-au dus in zona Baile Herculane. Attila, puiul de un an, a fost descoperit aproape mort de frig, in zapada si dus de urgenta la Centrul de Salvare. Azi, Attila este sanatos, fara urme de rani si se dezvolta normal. Se joaca toata ziua cu ceilalti orfani ai centrului. De obicei, acesti pui sunt gasiti de catre lucratorii forestieri sau de salvamontisti. Ei au in fata doar varianta unei vieti in captivitate, prin circuri, gradini zoologice sau tarcuri private. intr-un singur an au fost descoperiti zece ursuleti. "Avand in vedere ca pana la varsta de trei ani puii sunt crescuti de mama, care nu numai ca le asigura hrana, dar ii si invata cum sa supravietuiasca si sa-si procure mancarea, orfanii abandonati in padure vor fi victimele ursilor adulti, ale lupilor sau vor muri de foame", ne-a spus Leonardo Bereczky.
Contactul cu omul i-ar transforma in tomberonisti
Ursuletii din "orfelinat" au nevoie de ingrijiri speciale. Ei trebuie pregatiti pentru viata din salbaticie, fara ca, ajunsi la maturitate, sa devina dependenti de om, fara sa astepte de la acesta hrana zilnica. Se cunoaste faptul ca multi dintre aceia care s-au obisnuit sa manance din mana turistilor au devenit ursi problema, hranindu-se cu gunoaie si atacand gospodariile. Asemenea exemple sunt ursii tomberonisti de la Brasov sau cei din Muntii Bucegi – Valea Cerbului, care sunt deja actori amatori pentru videocamerele turistilor. Pe masura ce invata sa se descurce singuri, ursuletii sunt lasati sa faca scurte iesiri prin vecinatatile impadurite. O data ce isi termina "educatia" si "antrenamentul", sunt eliberati si monitorizati permanent, datorita zgarzilor cu emitatoare telemetrice pe care le poarta la gat. Centrul Ursilor Orfani nu este deschis publicului, ci numai catorva oameni de stiinta, pentru a pastra universul acestor animale cat mai aproape de cel natural.

Etichetele produselor alimentare ii vor avertiza pe alergici

Potrivit legii, pe etichete va trebui sa se specifice daca alimentele contin ingrediente potential alergenice. Astfel, cumparatorii vor fi avertizati ca produsele contin cereale cu gluten, crustacee, oua, peste, alune, soia, lapte si produse lactate, nuci, telina, mustar, seminte de susan care pot provoca o alergie. Reprezentantul Autoritatii Nationale pentru Protectia Consumatorilor, Alexandru Pais, a precizat ca toate mentiunile de pe etichete trebuie redactate in limba romana, lizibil si inteligibil. Nu sunt excluse formularile intr-o alta limba, cu conditia ca pe eticheta sa fie si cele in limba romana.

The centre hosts all year long pupils for their school camp, families on holidays, individuals or associations for trainings and seminars. In the activity program the centre mainly organises nature awareness activities (walks, treasure hunts, observation activities, farm activities, ?) as well as sport and expression activities. Greece – SCI HellasBegin:July 18, 2005, End: August 6, 2005 Topic: EnvironmentCampcode:GR-6-1Volunteer initiative for recycling?Volunteer initiative for recycling? is a summer workcamp with a double aim: To keep a beautiful and popular beach clean from litter during the summertime, while at the same time the volunteers will inform the people of the local community about environmental friendly ways to dispose their garbage. Nea Makri is a municipality located 35 km out of Athens and a lot of Athenians are using it as a summer resort, since it’s next to the sea. W. Working hours will be Mo ? Fri 9:30 ? 13:30. The vols will be responsible to collect the litter from a specific beach in the area and put them into garbage cans, and also run an info campaign for the public. According to a rotation system, every day some of the volunteers will be responsible to prepare the food for all the others. Weekends will be free. S. The participants will have the chance to learn some environmental friendly ways to dispose garbage, in order to be able to pass their knowledge to the people of the local community. A. In a newly built school, where the volunteers will have mattresses on the floor. There will be a fully equipped kitchen inside the building and toilets. According to Fukuoka, a Japanese ex-plant pathologist, human knowledge is limited and imperfect, in contrast to mother Nature. Therefore, the goal of farming should be to serve and imitate Nature and to avoid human intervention, with chemical or ?biological? means. Proponents of this method claim that, through mixing and sowing a large variety of seeds and avoiding any extra intervention (plowing, weeding, fertilizing etc), one can cultivate or reforest large areas with minimum costs and effort. W. mainly helping in the preparation of seeds for sowing fields and reforestation areas and in sowing fields. Possibly collect seeds. Location: PAKEFYKA is situated on an abandoned camping ground about 10 km from Edessa, a picturesque small town in Northern Greece. A. In the buildings of the abandoned camping site. This workcamp is organised in Regional Park in Zagare. The purpose of the project is to involve youth into ecological activities and at the same time the volunteers will be involved into a life of friendly town community. Zagare is the oldest town in Lithuania with rich cultural and nature heritage. Zagare has 2500 inhabitants. The regional Park in Zagare was established in order to preserve the valley of the river Svete and the landscape of Zagare forest, natural ecosystem and cultural heritage. Simultaneously the volunteers will have a possibility to get to know the Zagare cultural and natural heritage and the life of community in little town. In the end of the camp there will be a great festival in Zagare.
Work: cleaning the nature of the regional park in Zagare. The main activity for the volunteers will be to clean the river and its valley, also – to help the ecologist in monitoring.
Terminal/Region: approximately 270km from Vilnius ? the capital; 70 km from Siauliai and 90 km from Ryga (Latvia)
Accommodation: in the house in the centre of the town. You will need sleeping bag. Food: Volunteers will prepare the food by themselves.

CURSURI DE INSTRUIRE PENTRU TINERI

Proiectul "Youth Country Network" – 2005 este un proiect national implimentat timp de un an (01.2004 – 01.2005) de catre Centrul Tinerilor Antreprenori din Moldova – Steaua in colaborare cu ONG – Liga Studentilor Balteni si cu Facultatea de Stiinte Reale din cadrul Universitatii de Stat din Cahul, cu suportul si sustinerea Fundatiei Artemisia (SUA).

Pe parcursul intregului an au fost instruiti circa 400 de tineri din republica. Comunicabilitatea, sociabilitatea grupului si relatiile de la egal la egal a trainerilor a favorizat petrecerea orelor intr-o atmosfera foarte degajata. Toate activitatile efectuate au dus la realizarea unor rezultate vizibile: au stabilit impreuna ordinea pasilor ce trebuie intreprinsi pentru angajarea in campul muncii, si-au intocmit propriile CV-uri si scrisori de intentie, si-au format deprinderi de prezentare la un interviu si de management al banilor, au luat cunostinta si au analizat un plan de afaceri, au evaluat riscul la acordarea unui credit si au schitat planul propriei afaceri. In plus, toti participantii au primit un suport material/informational foarte important pentru dezvoltarea profesionala proprie.

La cursuri au fost invitati experti de la BIZPRO/Moldova, Moldoinconbank, Agroindbank cit si antreprenori din Moldova. La sfirsitul proiectului participantii au primit diplome de participare la curs semnate de CTAM – Steaua (Centrul Tinerilor Antreprenori din Moldova – Steaua) si de BIZPRO/Moldova.

Inceputul derularii proiectului in 2005 prevede desfasurarea a doua cursuri: "Orientarea Profesionala" si "Initierea propriei afaceri". La curs se pot inscrie toti doritorii cu varsta cuprinsa intre 18-30 ani. Orarul cursurilor este stabilit de participanti de comun acord.
Participantii la cursuri vor beneficia de un pachet integrat de servicii: suport material, sesiunea teoretica interactiva, sesiuni practice pentru dezvoltarea deprinderilor necesare pentru angajarea in campul muncii si/sau initiere a propriei afaceri, etc. Pe parcursul orelor vor fi invitati experti, antreprenori pentru a-si impartasi experienta de munca in domeniu. La sfarsitul cursurilor participantii vor fi decernati cu o diploma de participare cu posibilitatea unei eventuale conlucrari.

Costul unui singur curs este de 50 de lei. Daca o persoana va dori sa mearga la ambele cursuri atunci modalitatea de achitare va fi astfel: Orientare Profesionala = 50 de lei, Initierea unei Afaceri = 30 de lei, in plus aceste persoane vor primi cite un exemplar al Ghidului Tinarului Antreprenor".

Doritorii de a se inscrie la cursuri sunt rugati sa completeze formularul de aplicare pina la data de 30 mai 2005 si sa-l expedieze prin email, fax sau posta pe adresa indicata mai jos.

S-a deschis prima ceainarie pentru caini si pisici

Ca sa nu se plictiseasca in timp ce stapanii lor isi sorb ceaiul si rontaie prajiturelele, cainii si pisicile sunt serviti cu boluri cu apa si oase de ros. Ideea a fost preluata de la o organizatie engleza de protectia animalelor. Fundatia Daisy Hope doreste extinderea unor astfel de localuri. "Cautam restaurante si chiar hoteluri care sa accepte prezenta animalelor de companie. in ceainaria deschisa ieri tratatia animalelor este gratuita", ne-a spus Aura Maratas, presedinta Fundatiei-Adapost "Daisy Hope".

Tot mai multe hoteluri de lux in Delta

Apoi investitorii au aparut si in acest peisaj greu accesibil pentru noi constructii. Hoteluri de 3 si 4 stele au aparut intre bratele Dunarii si tot mai multe barci cu turisti tulbura acum linistea coloniilor de pelicani si lebede. Tarifele sunt pe masura greutatii cu care se fac modernizarile in aceasta zona. Preturile destul de piperate nu-i impiedica totusi pe hotelieri sa declare ca au capacitatile rezervate deja pentru primele luni ale verii. "O caramida adusa aici pentru a construi ceva costa dublu, din cauza transportului. De asemenea, serviciile isi dubleaza tarifele din aceeasi cauza", ne-a declarat Mihai Costea, director la complexul "Egreta". in plus, infrastructura in Delta Dunarii este ca si inexistenta. "Cine construieste aici e nevoit sa inceapa de la amenajarea terenului si pana la electrificare, apa curenta etc. Toate astea inseamna investitii de miliarde si statul nu ne ajuta deloc", afirma Cornel Gaina, patronul Complexului "Cormoran". Din cauza preturilor multi turisti vin pe cont propriu. Cu cortul. "Numarul mare de turisti individuali are consecinte in primul rand asupra mediului", ne-a declarat Marilena Apolon, director de turism la societatea Atbad SA, din Tulcea. Desi s-a construit mult in ultimii ani, capacitatea de cazare a Deltei Dunarii este destul de redusa, 70% dintre locuri fiind in reteaua ANTREC. Pensiunile sunt clasificate la 1, 2 sau 3 margarete si se afla in sase localitati din Delta. Cazarea la pensiune costa in jur de 10 euro de persoana pe zi.

lansarea proiectului ?Implementarea Planului de Management Frigorific: Proiect de Asistenta Tehnica?

Proiectul in cauza este sustinut tehnic si financiar de catre Fondul Multilateral pentru implementarea Protocolului de la Montreal privind substantele ce distrug stratul de ozon (SDO), care acorda asistenta tarilor in curs de dezvoltare pentru suprimarea esalonata si scoaterea din uz a SDO.

Obiectivele Proiectului sunt:
* Asistenta financiara stimulatoare pentru retrofitul sau reutilarea instalatiilor frigorifice cu R12 si R502 ale utilizatorilor finali din sectorul industrial si comercial;
* Dotarea tehnica a centrelor de deservire auto cu echipament si scule pentru recuperarea si reciclarea R12 din climatizoarele auto si substituirea acestuia cu agenti non-CFC (HCFC, HFC-134A);
* Instruirea personalului tehnic de specialitate privind recuperarea, reciclarea si retrofitul in sectorul de deservire a climatizoarelor auto.

Conferinta de presa va fi deschisa de catre Ministrul ecologiei si resurselor naturale C. Mihailescu, UNDP Resident Representative Bruno Pouesat, Asistent Programe PNUD, Moldova dna M. Petrusevschi si expertul international UNDP Robert Berkeley.

Elevii se joaca cu craniile in pauza

Asta dupa ce in timpul lucrarilor de renovare a liceului a fost dezgropat un cimitir vechi de peste 400 de ani. Muncitorii lovesc cu tarnacopul in schelete ca in piatra seaca. Nu mai stiu ce sa faca cu atatea oase adunate din ianuarie pana acum. Au strans o parte din oasele mai mari in saci. O alta gramada zace intr-o magazie din curtea liceului. Nimeni nu gaseste o solutie. Primpreotul Bisericii Negre, parintele Christian Plajer, si directorul liceului vor sa se faca o slujba decenta si sa se inmormanteze osemintele.
